Today marks the start of the new Integrated Care Board, which aims to help everyone in Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes to live a longer life in good health.
For many years, we have worked well in partnership as local NHS organisations and local authorities. By establishing our Integrated Care Board with Members joining from NHS Trusts, primary care and local authorities in our area, we have the opportunity to build on this partnership working by taking decisions together to improve the lives of our residents.
We’re keen to get off to the best start and so we’re sharing with residents some of the things we will deliver in the coming weeks and months, which will improve the experience people have when they use health and care services. You can find out more by following the link and keeping up to date with our news, podcast and newsletter. You can even get involved.
We’re ambitious for your health and wellbeing. You are our priority. The work starts today.
