Dr Rima Makarem, Chair Designate of the Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Integrated Care Board has invited GPs, community pharmacists, dentists, optometrists and senior clinicians and leaders working in primary care in Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes, to apply to be Primary Medical Services Partner Members of the Integrated Care Board and play a leading role in improving the health and wellbeing of people living in our area.

Ahead of the establishment of the Integrated Care Board on 1 July 2022, the Chair is looking to recruit three Primary Medical Services Partner Board Members, who will work with fellow partner members from local councils, hospitals, community and mental health trusts to help improve the things that matter most to us all, including giving everyone the best start in life and helping people to live longer in good health.

Dr Rima Makarem, Chair Designate of the Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Integrated Care Board said: “Making sure that we have voices from primary care services at the centre of the Integrated Care Board is essential if we’re to make a difference to the lives of our population.

“The Integrated Care Board brings together people from across the sector, all focused on putting local people first. It’s an exciting time to take on an important role and we’re encouraging colleagues from across Primary Medical Services to find out more about the roles available and apply now.”

Roles are available for viewing now, please visit – Primary Medical Services Partner Member Recruitment – Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Integrated Care System (blmkhealthandcarepartnership.org).
