MK Council is providing support to businesses to help them achieve their climate action goals through its £100,000 project.

The Council is working with Ngage on its Prism project which will run for one year, providing practical support for local firms including grant funding and training to help them make the most of low carbon opportunities.

Ngage will use its expertise to guide businesses on how to achieve their carbon cutting ambitions. The programme includes:

  • Practical events looking at businesses may be affected by climate change and the steps they can take
  • Access to low carbon initiatives
  • Facilitating high-quality services and training to capitalise on low carbon opportunities
  • Events and workshops for companies to create a network of like-minded business who can work together

Local businesses interested in enrolling onto the programme should contact prism@ngagesolutions.co.uk.

The Prism project is part of MK Council’s £500,000 Green Business Recovery Fund which is intended to help local businesses improve their green offer to local residents and create more sustainable jobs.

“We’re looking forward to working with Prism on this forward thinking programme which will help local businesses flourish and do so sustainably. We’ve been really encouraged by the enthusiasm local firms are showing to tackle climate change and that’s something we’ll continue to support.”- Deputy Leader of MK Council, Cllr Robin Bradburn
