The NHS in Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes is seeking the views of residents who have experience of using the Community Urgent Eyecare Service (CUES).

CUES was established during the COVID pandemic to provide urgent eye care to residents, with a key emphasis on delivering care remotely. The service enables anyone needing urgent eye care to be assessed by an Optometrist by telephone or video consultation.

Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Integrated Care Board (BLMK ICB) has launched a short survey to get the views of residents on whether this service continues to meet their needs.

The survey can be completed online here.

Dr Sanhita Chakrabarti, Deputy Medical Director, Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Integrated Care Board, said: “We would like to encourage anyone who has used the Community Urgent Eyecare Service to share their views by filling in this short online survey.

“By listening to residents, we can make sure we provide the right service for the needs of our local population.”

More information about the CUES service can be found on the Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Health and Care Partnership website.

This survey will close at midnight on Monday 31 July 2023.
