Bedfordshire, Luton, and Milton Keynes Integrated Care Board (BLMK ICB) has been officially accredited as a Living Wage Employer. This prestigious recognition underscores BLMK ICB’s commitment to ensuring that all employees receive a fair wage that meets the cost of living.

The Living Wage accreditation is awarded by the Living Wage Foundation to organisations that voluntarily pay their employees a wage that is higher than the national minimum wage and is calculated based on the actual cost of living. This commitment extends to all direct employees and third-party contracted staff.
Felicity Cox, Chief Executive of BLMK ICB, said:
“We are delighted to receive this accreditation. It reflects our dedication to valuing our workforce and ensuring that everyone who contributes to our organisation can afford to live with dignity. This is a significant step towards promoting fairness and equality within our community.”
The accreditation comes at a crucial time as the cost of living continues to rise. By adopting the Living Wage, BLMK ICB is taking a proactive stance in supporting its employees and setting a positive example for other organisations in the healthcare sector.
