Skills for Life | National Apprenticeship Week

Apprenticeships provide routes into a variety of careers in the NHS and are a great way to gain work experience and achieve nationally recognised qualifications. Read about how we are celebrating National Apprenticeship Week across Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes.

Celebrating Nursing Associate Apprentices

On Thursday 9 February we are celebrating the success of 22 Nursing Associate Apprentices who are now working in primary care. Local health leaders will be attending including Primary Care Training Hub’s Kirsty Shanley and Janet Thornley who have developed and supported colleagues through their apprenticeship. Representing the Integrated Care Board will be Felicity Cox, our Chief Executive, Sarah Stanley our Chief Nursing Director, and Martha Roberts our Chief People Officer Martha Roberts.
