Tuesday 2 May 2023 was World Asthma Day and, to mark the day, Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Integrated Care Board (BLMK ICB) hosted a community event in Luton aimed at helping children and young people and their families to take control of their asthma.

The event, which was held at Hockwell Ring Community Centre, gave attendees the opportunity to learn and improve their understanding of asthma, its management, and when and how to seek help.

By sharing important information about asthma care and management, the event aimed to help children and young people with asthma to take control of their symptoms and live normal, active and healthy lives.
