The NHS Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Integrated Care Board became a statutory organisation on 1 July 2022.

The Integrated Care Partnership is a joint Committee of the Integrated Care Board (ICB) and the four local Councils and is called the BLMK Health and Care Partnership. It is chaired by a local authority elected member, Cllr Tracey Stock and the vice-chair is Rima Makarem, the ICB Chair. The Health and Care Partnership has core members from NHS organisations, councils, GPs, Healthwatch and voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations.

The BLMK Health and Care Partnership meets on a quarterly basis and the meetings are held in public. It will also hold workshops on issues that affect our system and will invite experts and interested parties to these meetings.

Integrated care strategy

The Health and Care Partnership is responsible for the development and agreement of the Integrated Care Strategy for Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes. The Health and Wellbeing strategies from each of the Council boroughs and population health information will be used as a basis for the strategy.
